Mumbai:
BenQ India (www.benq.com)
has launched its Slimline series projectors for the Indian market,
incorporating the revolutionary digital light processing (DLP)
technology. The company has appointed Godrej as the national
distributor for the product.
BenQ has already made an
impact in the keyboards, CD-ROM, CD-RW and scanners segment. While
these products continue to be popular and fetch more penetration
in the market, BenQ has got encouraging support from consumers for
the premium product range of SL serious projectors, LCD monitors,
digital cameras and DVD Rom, says BenQ India managing director
Tashi Gelek.
Godrej & Boyce
Manufacturing Company Ltd marketing manager K R Rustamji says: The
relationship will help us leverage BenQs superior technology
with our extensive reach and penetration through our network to
market the projectors. Godrej & Boyce will not only offer the
technologically superior BenQ projectors, but also provide the
after-sales support and service.
Godrej has a network of
service centres spread across 15 cities in India. BenQs range
of projectors include digital projectors with 800 / 1000 / 1100
ANSI Lumens and the Slimline series of video projectors.
BenQs Slimline series
of projectors incorporates the revolutionary DLP technology. The
SL705 S&X video projectors have the native resolutions of SVGA
(800 x 600) and XGA (1,024 x 768), respectively. The DLP
technology delivers seamless picture quality that doesnt have
the screen-door effect of the LCD image. As image size
increases, gaps in the LCD projection get even bigger, but with
the BenQ SL 705 S&X everything remains picture-perfect.
The projector has the
feature of a one-touch auto-compatibility with different image
sources. What it means is that on touching the autokey, in an
instant the projector recognises the signal coming from the
computer and selects the best setting. One can even switch to a
different image source while the projector is turned on. Plug in a
new device and the projector will automatically detect the signal
regardless of whether it is from a PC, a notebook computer, mac,
video camera, DVD player, VCR, or an electronic game.
