Harish Manwani
Harish Manwani is president, Unilever Asia and Africa. He is a part of the Unilever Executive (UEX), an eight-member team that runs Unilever's operations world-wide. He is also non-executive chairman of Hindustan Lever Limited (HLL). Manwani joined HLL in 1976 and joined the board of HLL in 1995, as director responsible for the personal products business.

In 2000, he moved to the UK as senior vice president for the global hair care and oral care categories, and in early 2001 was appointed president home and personal care (HPC), Latin America Business Group.

In 2004, he was appointed president and CEO of the HPC North America Business Group, and in April 2005 was elevated to the Unilever Executive as president, Asia and Africa.

Douglas Baillie
Douglas Baillie is currently group vice president Africa, Middle East and Turkey (AMET). He joined Unilever South Africa in 1978 and in 1988, he became sales director and then marketing director. He moved to London in 1994 to Lever Pond's, personal products co-ordination where he became the regional liaison member before becoming vice president, home and personal care, Africa Business Group.

He was appointed managing director, Lever Pond's South Africa in 1997 and national manager, Unilever South Africa, in May 2000. In March 2004, Baillie took over as president, Africa Regional Group and in July 2004 was appointed group vice president, AMET.

Arun Adhikari
Arun Adhikari joined Hindustan Lever Limited as a management trainee in 1977. He has held a series of assignments across sales, market research and marketing including a stint with Unilever Corporate Development at London. In April 2000, he was appointed executive director, personal
products.

Adhikari was appointed as managing director of HLL's home and personal care division, which comprises soaps, detergents and personal products, from May 1, 2004.
