Mumbai:
Partha Sarkar has joined Hinduja TMT (www.hindujatmt.com)
as their chief operating officer for IT-enabled services.
As the COO, Sarkar will be responsible for leading the
ITES team.
He
has to his credit over 15 years of experience in customer
service and operations in diverse industries like banking
and financial services, healthcare and insurance and brings
in an in-depth knowledge and expertise to HTMT''s senior
management team.

Sarkar''s experience in outsourcing projects in diverse
domain areas, and in servicing clients internationally,
we will gain further momentum in the ITES sector,"
says R Mohan, president and CEO, HTMT.
Sarkar
was previously the general manager with Deloitte Consulting
for their Hyderabad facility, which provides both business
process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology outsourcing
(ITO) support for Deloitte''s world-wide clients, wherein
he was responsible for setting up and running various
complex outsourcing projects pertaining to finance, accounting,
research and content management.
He
has also been with GE Capital International Services as
vice-president and service delivery leader where he was
functional in managing businesses as diverse as autoleasing,
private label credit cards, medical systems, electronic
appliance helpline and catalogue sales. Prior to this
Sarkar spent nine years with Bank of America in branch
customer service and operations.
Sarkar
holds a post-graduate diploma in management from IIM Bangalore
and a master''s degree in technology from IIT Chennai.
