 New Delhi: Passenger car market leader Maruti Udyog Limited has announced a marginal increase in price of certain models. The increase, which comes into effect from today, varies from 0.17 per cent to 1.47 per cent.
The price increase is due to rise in input costs and freight costs, which increased following the rise in oil prices. In this phase, the company has decided to pass on only a part of the increase in costs to the customers. There is no change in the prices of Swift, Zen, Baleno (Vxi) and WagonR (Petrol).
