Premise Networks has released the Xpress-Lock, the new
field terminable MT -RJ connector. Xpress-Lock MT-RJ maximizes
field efficiency with minimum termination time, total
flexibility and superior design features and the most
comprehensive solution available in the field.
Designed in accordance with the industry FOCIS intermateability
standard (TIA/EIA-604-12), the Xpress-Lock MT -RJ connector
is available to support 62.5 micron (OM1), 50 micron (OM2)
and enhanced 50 micron for use with laser optimised fibres
(OM3)
solutions.
It
provides the following features-Minimum Termination Time
Required: typical termination time is less than two minutes,
requires no special tools, fixtures, adhesives or polishing,
termination process is
simple and no special training required, one step cable
preparation -saves termination time. Total flexibility:
Reusable-can be re-terminated if required (up to 10 times),
available in Male
and Female configurations.
