Mumbai: PeopleSoft India, the Indian subsidiary of PeopleSoft Inc, the world''s second largest provider of enterprise application software, has announced an expansion of its alliance with Covansys to include consulting and implementation support to clients in India in the manufacturing and healthcare segment.

Covansys is a US-based global consulting and technology services company, which has established the PeopleSoft India development center, and is engaged in product engineering and other related activities.

The new service offering will enable customers to leverage the knowledge and expertise that Covansys and PeopleSoft bring to the manufacturing and healthcare sectors.

Murray Creighton, senior vice president, PeopleSoft Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) region, and Angus McDougall, managing director, PeopleSoft South Asia region visited Covansys to discuss their partnership.
