Tata International''s engineering division, Pune, has signed an MoU with Finolex to exclusively market its products (submersible cables, jelly filled telephone cables, LAN and networking cables, optical fibre cables, multi-core flexible cables, power and control cables, house wires andcables, PVC foam sheets and roofing sheets) on a principal-to-principal basis in South Africa, Lesotho, Namibia, Zambia and Malawi initially, and to expand into other African territories subsequently.

Finolex Cables Ltd., an ISO 9001 company has four cable manufacturing plants. The company manufactures a wide range of cables for the construction, automotive, agriculture, communication and power sectors. They also make Optic Fibre cables.

R. Balasubramaniam, president Tata International and M L Jain, assistant managing director and COO, Finolex Cables signed the agreement.
