Chennai:
The city-based Telesis Technologies, a training and implementation
partner of Infosys Technologies for their core-banking
solution, Finacle, has successfully completed the pilot
implementation of Finacle at City Bank, Dhaka in Bangladesh.
The
project involved the implementation of Finacle, end-to-end,
in City Bank''s principal office branch with two more branches
in the city of Dhaka connected to the data centre.
The
whole implementation was successfully completed by Telesis
under the cover of a performance guarantee, which is very
unique in the banking sector. According to the guarantee,
the bank can hold back payment towards implementation
at any point of time if the performance of the software
dips.
Currently,
Telesis is implementing two more similar projects for
two banks abroad — Nabil Bank in Nepal and Indian
Ocean International Bank (IOIB), Mauritius.
