Karnataka
Bank deputy general manager N S  Chakkera
has been promoted as the general manager of the bank.
Chakkera has been
heading the bank’s IT department where he is said to have
“spearheaded” the bank’s foray into installing a centralised
core banking solution, involving the networking of 125
branches, accounting for more than 60 per cent of the
total business.
