and Sindh Bank posts Q1 net profit of Rs 10.34 crore

Delhi: Punjab
and Sindh Bank has recorded a net profit of Rs 10.34 crore
for the first quarter ended 30 June 2003, as against Rs
10.03 crore during the same period in the previous year.
 The
operating profit stood at Rs 28.86 crore at the end of
the first quarter of the current fiscal against Rs 23.47
crore at the end of 31 June 2002.
 Profit
from treasury operations has risen by 45.41 per cent from
Rs 11.76 crore to Rs 17.10 crore.
