Mangalore: With the Mangalore-based Corporation Bank having secured the corporate agency license to sell products of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), LIC’s Hyderabad zonal manager has officially handed over the license to Corporation Bank chairman and managing director K Cherian Varghese at the bank’s corporate office here today.

The first life insurance policy distributed through the bank was handed over to a client by Varghese at a function organised to mark the occasion.
