Thiruvananthapuram: Life insurance company, Max New York Life, has started operations in Thiruvananthapuram.
The company's office in the city, its second in Kerala, was inaugurated yesterday.

The company's franchisee for Kerala — Futuristic Consultancies — that runs its Kochi operations will manage the office in Thiruvananthapuram also, said a company press release.

The company is expected to start operations in Kozhikode in a few days, the release added. Max New York Life has also launched `Life Maker', a new insurance plan, in Kerala.
