Growth in two-wheeler sales trails cars news

While the rate of growth rate of  the car segment was a healthy 14.41 per cent in 2007-08, the two-wheeler segment recorded a decline of 5.20 per cent.

According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the production, sale and increase / decrease in the production of passenger cars and two-wheelers during the last three years were:
