Chanda Kochhar, deputy
managing director, ICICI Bank has been elevated joint managing director and chief
financial officer and the official spokesperson for the bank. Kochar, in her new
capacity will be responsible for the corporate centre of ICICI Bank. Sonjoy
Chatterjee, managing director and CEO, ICICI Bank UK Plc, is elevated to executive
director, ICICI Bank, with effect from 22 October, responsible for wholesale and
international banking. Apart
from his existing responsibility for retail banking V Vaidyanathan, executive
director, will also assume complete responsibility for rural banking. Vishakha
Mulye, group chief financial officer, has been appointed executive director on
the board of the general insurance subsidiary of the bank ICICI Lombard General
Insurance. Deputy
managing director, Nachiket Mor has moved over to set up the ICICI Foundation.
