Chennai: Bharti Telenet, the fixed-line telephony provider in Tamil Nadu, has crossed the 1-lakh customer milestone. The company added more than 20,000 connections in the last two months.

Tamil Nadu is one of the largest telecom markets in the country. Bharti Telenet is present in five cities in the state and also in the union territory of Pondicherry and offers its connection under the brand Touchtel.
