HCL
Comnet, (A 100 per cent subsidiary of HCL technologies
and a pioneer of remote IT infrastructure management in
India), has been ranked ''excellent'' for its service portfolio
by the Meta Group''s MetaspectrumSM report for offshore
outsourcing.
Meta
Group is a leading provider of information technology
(IT) research, advisory services and strategic consulting
and its Metaspectrum evaluation provides an objective
assessment of companies providing offshore outsourcing.
While
the report accorded a ''leader'' status to HCL Technologies,
the Comnet services portfolio of (monitoring and management
services) was accredited with an ''excellent'' ranking.
Earlier Deutche Bank had accorded the leaders ranking
to HCL Comnet for its remote infrastructure management.
According
to Dean Davison, vice president and service director,
Meta
Group the Metaspectrum has been designed to enable IT
professionals to quickly evaluate vendors based on their
ability to deliver.
