Delhi: The all new Lancer CEDIA, which will be displayed
at the eighth Auto Expo, has recently received the homologation
certificate. According to Hindussstan Motors, the Lancer
Cedia meets the stringent emission and safety norms
as stipulated for a car of this segment.
Commenting
on the development, Ravi Santhanam, MD, Hindustan Motors
Ltd, said, "HM is all geared up for the launch
of the Lancer Cedia. All necessary approvals for the
commercial launch of the vehicle have been obtained.
Cedia has done exceedingly well on all the parameters
tested upon. We are confident the Cedia will woo many
customers for its high performance."

highlights of the Lancer Cedia are:

2.0 litre 16 Valve, ECI multi-engine equipped with
a 32-bit microprocessor meeting emission regulations
and provides "best in class fuel economy"
