Chennai: Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals on Wednesday announced that the European drug regulator has approved the manufacturing facility for one of its bulk drugs, Cefixime.

The approval allows Orchid to export the drug to Europe. Orchid's press release said that Cefixime is the fourth drug approved by the European regulator.
