Chennai: Pentasoft Malaysia Sdn Bhd has won the MSC Asia Pacific ICT 2003 Merit Award for its insurance solution framework, Pentaisf, under the Best of Software Applications category.

From 220 nominations received, Pentaisf was one of the 85 short-listed products, and emerged as one among the 25 selections in the software category.

Some of Pentaisf''s clients are, Zurich Insurance (Thailand), HongLeong Assurance (Malaysia) and Takaful Nasional (Malaysia).

The total value of contracts under execution using Pentaisf exceeds $5 million and there is a current active pipeline prospectus of more than $4 million in the Asia Pacific region.
