With the launch of the Safari, Telco made a break from its past and a quantum leap forward in manufacturing world-class passenger cars. With an extremely contemporary and fresh design, the machine has an imposing street presence.

Using the same engine that powers the Sierra Turbo SUV, the 1948cc 483DL motor Safari’s engine is exceptionally silent and smooth, thanks to comprehensive sound-deadening refining of this power plant.

The chunky bumpers and aggressive-looking Kumho rubber embellish the Safari’s rugged looks. The driver’s seat is set at an elevation and gives a panoramic view. The newly-designed instrumentation is easy to read and is comprehensive.

The Safari is designed as an eight-seater and uses a turbo-charged version of 1984cc 483 diesel engine. It can reach a speed of 100 kmph from standstill in 25.70 seconds and can cruise at speeds of 120 kmph.

The suspension soaks up anything thrown in the Safari’s way. It glides over potholes, speed-breakers, ruts and broken roads with ease.
